Stanbic IBTC Bank 

Stanbic IBTC bank offers Unsecured Personal School fees loans. It comes with zero collateral, and it is targeted at meeting the financial needs of parents and guardians that want to pay the school fees for their children or would in any tier of the education system. The Stanbic IBTC Unsecured Personal School Fees loan is easy to get as the process the short and timely, it can be easily accessed, the repayment plan is quite flexible and the loan caters to all levels of education.

To be able to apply for this loan you will need documents such as a letter of introduction and salary domiciliation from your employer, payslip for the past 3 months, means of identification and an invoice from the school that shows the accommodation and upkeep fees. I spoke with Adanne from Migo Money and she confirmed that they give loans up to 1 million Naira that can be used at the receiver’s discretion but they do not necessarily give travel loans. It is up to you to decide if you want to use the loan to travel or to process your travelling needs. 

FairMoney

Speaking with Susan, a representative from FairMoney, she also confirmed this and said they give loans of up to 1 million Naira or above depending on your eligibility but they are general loans not necessarily student loans, if you decide to take the loan to process your academic on travel needs then of course, that’s a choice you can choose to make but they do not necessarily give student loans, only general loans. MPower Loans

The MPower loans are geared towards international students and it is a great way to help fund education. MPower has been giving loans since 2014. For the MPower loans, you do not need a collateral cosigner and instead of this, MPower will look out for other factors and that includes your future earning potential. As a student, you have the flexibility of getting loans from as little as $2000 up to $100,000, i.e a total of 50000 dollars per academic period.

The MPower financing loan has a fixed interest rate for the entire duration of the loan but you can receive a one-time discount of 0.25% on your interest rates if you enable automatic loan repayment through your bank account. MPower loans help international students who want to study in the United States and in Canada and will give loans to students based on their future earning potential.
