University of Hull’s £10,000 Award for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Master’s Degree Applicants

The director of the Centre Of Excellence For Data Science, Artificial Intelligence And Modelling (DAIM) Doctor Kevin Pimbblet; expressed his happiness at the news and how it will improve learning in the university.

Doctor Kevin went on ahead to speak on how it aligns with the universities social justice strategy of supporting disadvantaged and underrepresented students. He also further spoke about how the university has since its inception in 2020 been running a very successful Master’s degree conversion course assisting hundreds of students to reach their goals in Data Science and AI skills and assisting them with getting a leg in various industries like finance and he and so much more in the United Kingdom.

The University is proud to announce the launch of the Centre for Excellence for Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Modelling (DAIM). The university has invested significantly in this £4.5 million facility, which is the largest computational teaching space on campus. The Centre provides hundreds of students with an opportunity to learn, practice, and apply coding techniques to solve unique problems facing the world. The Centre aims to be at the forefront of many exciting developments in the field and to work with industry partners to deliver research and skills outcomes of strategic priority to the UK, our region and the world.
