Bit by The Travel Bug: Visa For Different Countries You Need To Know

There are 195 countries in the world, with seven continents and you might need a visa to get to some of them. Each country also works differently, is governed by different people, filled with different cultures.

Travelling is and can be a fun, enriching experience but so much must happen for it to happen. Deciding where to go, shopping for and buying all you need for the trip, passport, visa, flight tickets and so much more.

All of this can be stressful, and maybe even put you off the thought of travelling. one of the things needed to travel as stated earlier is a Visa and some countries do offer that on arrival which cuts back on a lot of stress like queuing and standing at consulates and embassies, the time you’ll spend trying to get the necessary documentation like letters of invitation, and more beforehand.

If you are a Nigerian passport holder, there are countries that offer visas on arrival for you.

Countries That Offer Visas On Arrival;

  • Bolivia
  • Cambodia
  • Comoros
  • Ethiopia
  • Iran
  • Kenya
  • Lebanon
  • Madagascar
  • Maldives
  • Mauritania
  • Mauritius
  • Mozambique
  • Namibia
  • Palau
  • Rwanda
  • Samoa
  • Seychelles
  • Somalia
  • Timor-Leste
  • Tuvalu
  • Uganda

In instances where you are travelling to the countries listed above, you don’t have to stress too much, book your flight tickets and once you get to the airport in the country, you are able to get it. The authorities in charge there will look at your passport and maybe check and confirm the visitor’s identity, if you maybe have a criminal record, ask that you pay application fees if there are any.

There are also countries that depending on your nationality you can visit visa-free depending on the kind of passport you carry and your nationality. Visa-free countries give you the chance to travel without applying for visas in embassies or visas on arrival. Even though you will still go through an immigration check to confirm who you are, to see that you have no criminal record and some may even want to stamp your passport.
