Morocco, Is That You Yelling My Name?

All roads lead to Morocco today. Morocco laye wa.

I think it’s very obvious now that keeping in line with the season, I am going to be bringing you a lot of Christmas-related, holiday-related, new year-related, and vacation-related content and you love it all, don’t you? Today we’re taking a first-class plane ride all the way to Morocco.

It’s no secret, especially if you’re regular to the website that if I can, I will avoid cold places. Give me heat, give me sun, give me wide umbrellas, give me beaches, give me sipping a piña colada on a lounge chair in my bikini, with a wide-brimmed hat on, on the beach and Morocco offers just that, offers that and so much more and you know there are people who agree with me, really just take a look at this tweet below.

Bursting with beautiful breathtaking cultures, a mixture of Arabian, European and it’s Berber cultural influences. Home to over 37 million people who speak the languages Arabic, Standard Moroccan Berber and also the native vernacular Moroccan Arabic also known as Darija.

There’s so much to experience in Morocco. It’s such a beautiful country with very colourful beautiful architecture, rich culture to experience. There are beautiful medinas, museums and galleries, nature and the mountains, delicious mouthwatering cuisines, historical landmarks, historic sites and icons. You also get to experience Moroccan traditional crafts, local products and even gastronomy.

If you’re the type to want to experience nature and discover beautiful rural heritage there’s something for you, if you like beaches, sports and leisure activities, there’s definitely something for you. If you like Medinas and beaches, there is something for you and if you want to immerse yourself in the true Moroccan cultural heritage, the official Moroccan website advises that you go to places like Meknes, Fez and Marrakesh.

Tourist Attractions in Morocco.

1. Chefchaouen

This charming Labyrinth hill town is simply peaceful and calming and has been said to be a great place to feel alive again and recharge. Unlike the cities like Fez and Marrakesh that is very fast-paced and bustling, this town just wants you to slow down and breathe. When I tell you that’s the Instagram pictures, the social media content in this new town is going to be banging, believe me.

There isn’t actual sightseeing to be done in this town, you’re just going to be taking leisurely walks about the Medina alleys and soaking in the beautiful architecture, which if you ask me is a win-win because you get to take swell pictures and just relax and rest and recharge. It’s so good.

2. Ait Ben Haddou

The eye-catching orange-hued turrets and the curvy lanes in this village are actually one that draws Hollywood and has become a prime location for filmmakers because of the beauty that it carries. There are amazing markets and stalls where you can find beautiful pieces of jewellery and other cultural things that are unique to Morocco and Marrakesh. You’ve got the traditional musicians, the random acrobats, the snake charmers. it’s just absolutely artsy and colourful. A content creator’s dream.

Also called Fes el Bali is made up of a maze of skinny back alleyways that will most definitely get you a little lost. On the streets of this town, you will find beautiful palaces and monuments set in twisted streets and souq streets filled to the brim with the local traditional handicrafts that will want to make you spend all your coins.

5.  Bab al-Mansour in Meknes

A breathtaking relic of Meknes’ glorious era as the capital of Morocco and was made as an ode to the sultan’s feat. It is a beautiful Medina well known for its intricate and gorgeous decorations.
