Open Scholarships For You
Australia Award Scholarship
This is one of the open scholarships and if you like Australia then this is meant for you. This award is a long-time award administered by the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The aim of this award is to add to the development needs of the Australian partner countries in line with the bilateral and regional agreements. People from developing countries, especially those countries that are in the Indo-Pacific region are provided with these opportunities to be able to undertake their studies in full-time undergraduate or postgraduate courses and Australian Universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions.
The Australian award scholarships benefits are;
- Full tuition fees
- Payments of return air travel of a single return economy class airfare to and from Australia.
- A one-time-only payment for establishment towards accommodation expenses, study materials and textbooks.
- Contribution to Living Expenses (CLE) basic living expenses to be paid every 2 weeks.
- Overseas Student’s Health Cover (OSHC). This covers the student’s basic medical cost for the entire duration of the scholarship award
And so many other benefits.
Applicants for this award will need to sign a contract with the Commonwealth of Australia declaring compliance with all conditions of the scholarship. Applicants are also required to leave Australia for a minimum of at least 2 years after completion of their scholarship, not doing this will affect the applicants and incur a debt of the total cost of the scholarship. Advanced Bachelor’s And Master’s Degrees Or Continuing Education Courses In Belgium (ARES)
Every year, the ARES gives an average of 130 scholarships for master’s and bachelor’s degrees and 70 continuing education scholarships to nationals of its partner countries.
The ARES scholarship will offer you the opportunity to follow a one-year advanced bachelor’s or master’s degree program or a two to six months continuing education program within a higher education institution of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation in Belgium.
Benefits of the ARES scholarship
- Living allowance for a duration of 12 months.
- Airfare for international travel economy class with a maximum of 1-year round trip ticket per academic year
- Registration feesÂ
- Â Insurance cost
- Indirect mission cost. This is given once per stay and upon arrival of the scholarship awardee.
 To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must;
- Be a national, reside and work in any of the Belgium partner countries.
- The applicants must hold a diploma that is comparable to a graduate-level degree.
- Â The applicants must also have relevant professional experience in a Belgium partner country over at least 2 years after graduate studies.
- Applicants must complete the application in the language in which the training is given.

Brunei Darussalam Scholarship
The Brunei government scholarship program helps students with top-notch academic knowledge grow their professional skills to allow them to compete in the international competitive environment.Â
The scholarship provides various programs and different disciplines through which applicants are encouraged to apply to the educational institute of Brunei. Universiti Brunei Darussalam (USD), Kolej Universiti Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPU SB), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB), and Politeknik Brunei (PB) are some of the universities where the scholarship is executed. The universities help to serve as a bridge between the different countries and Brunei leading to national harmony.Â
Benefits of the scholarship include;Â

- Monthly allowance of BND $500Â
- A monthly meal allowance of BND $150Â
- Â Yearly book allowance of BND $600Â

Students who are recipients of this scholarship are expected to conform to the rules and regulations of the country as well as respect the traditions, cultures, customs and norms and also the official religions of Brunei Darussalam.
The scholarship is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Brunei Darussalam. And the scholarship is offered for diploma levels, undergraduate degree programs, and post-graduate degree programs.

Chevening Scholarship
The Chevening Scholarship will help you develop your skills, create positive and lasting change, and also make lifelong friends.
With over 50,000 strong alumni network that includes 19 current or former heads of state or government. This scholarship is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and partner organisations. The scholarship allows you to study in the United Kingdom for 1 year on a fully funded master’s degree course.
To be eligible for a Chevening scholarship;
- Â You have to be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country,
- Applicants have to have completed their undergraduate degree, with at least a 2-1.
- Applicants must return to their country of citizenship for at least 2 years after the scholarship has ended.
- Applicants must have at least two years of work experienceÂ
- Â Applicants must also apply to three different eligible UK universities and have received an unconditional offer from one of the choices.
The scholarship covers;
- Payment of tuitionÂ
- Â Airfare in economy class from your own country to the countryÂ
- Â Settlement allowanceÂ
- Â Departure allowanceÂ
- Â Travel top-up allowanceÂ
- Â And also a monthly personal living allowance that will cover accommodation and living expenses.
