What Is The Purpose Of Your Trip?

This question is asked during your Canadian students visa interview by the visa officer to learn about your purpose for wanting to go to Canada. You will need to show proof that you have got admission into a university in Canada

Have You Been To Canada Before? 

The answer to this question should be the truth. If you’ve been to Canada before you will need to state when you went to Canada and your reason for going to Canada. And if you’ve not been to Canada before you also need to answer I want to see you.

Why did you choose Canada? 

 When asked this question during your Canadian students visa interview, you will need to talk about your reason for choosing Canada for education. You need to tell your visa officer why you picked a Canadian institution over institutions in your home country. Talk about all of the good that you can learn in Canada and also from your course of study.

Who Will Pay For Your Education?

If you have a sponsor for your education and living expenses then you must identify and provide all information concerning them. Whether you are getting a scholarship, you’re taking a student loan or your parent assisting you with the tuition.

Why Did You Choose The University? 

To give the best answers to this question you need to have in-depth knowledge about your chosen institution. You will need to take your time with your research of the institution you chose and this will help you answer this question right. Here during your Canadian students visa interview, you will talk about the advantages of picking that institution, with this question you need to speak about the university’s culture and how you fit in, how the university will help you on your educational journey and also help you achieve your educational goals. You’ll talk about the rank of the university, its faculty and all of the reasons why the university drew you in.

What Is Your Course Of Study And Why Did You Pick This Course Of Study? 

Your visa officer, wants to know your chosen cause of study and why you chose it. You will need to explain based on your research the advantages of choosing that course of study, here you also speak about the course curriculum, when the program starts and ends and also the duration of the program. You also talk about how choosing this course of study benefits you and your future and why you know that you can do well in this course of study.

Which Approved English Language Proficiency Test Have You Taken? 

To answer this question during your Canadian students visa interview you will need to tell your visa officer the number of tests that you have taken, whether it’s the PTE or IELTS or any other ones. You will also talk about your score on the tests.

Do You Have Friends And Family In Canada?

You’ll answer this question honestly and if you do have family in Canada you will specify. You will talk about your relationship with the people that you know in Canada, whether they are your friends or family.

Did You Get a Scholarship? 

 As always you need to be honest when answering this question. You will tell your visa officer if you were able to get a scholarship or more for your education. You’ll also talk about the scholarships that you applied for, and which ones you got and didn’t get.

Where Will You Live In Canada?

You will provide details of your temporary accommodation and here you need to explain in detail your accommodation situation. Be it living in university-provided accommodation, or if you are renting your own place outside your university.

Do You Plan To Work In Canada? 

If your visa type permits you to work while also studying in Canada, you will mention this to your visa officer and talk about how your work is going to help you support yourself financially and also boost your professional career. If your visa does not permit you to work in Canada you will also tell this to the officer and let them know that you have no intentions of working in Canada.

Do You Plan To Return To Your Home Country After Your Education? 

As always, you need to answer honestly while talking about this. If you will be returning to your home country, you will need to express why to your visa officer and if you’re not you also need to explain why in detail why you will be staying back in Canada but at work, apply for permanent residency, start a new job etc.
