How to Process a Schengen Visa
As a member of the Schengen Area, Denmark has abolished passport controls at its internal borders with other Schengen member countries. This means that travelers can move freely between Denmark and other Schengen countries without undergoing passport checks. However, Denmark still retains control over its external borders, meaning that passport checks are conducted at its borders with non-Schengen countries.
The Schengen visa allows international travelers to gain entry into the Schengen zone and the countries under it for at most 90 days.
There are different Schengen visa types, depending on your needs and the purpose of your travel. These visa types are;
Transit Visa, Tourism Visa, Visa for Visiting Family or Friends, Business Visa, Visa for Journalists, Visa for Culture and Sports activities, Visa for Official Visits, Study Visa, and Visa for Medical Reasons.
