People declutter for different reasons. As a lot of Nigerians Japa from the country relocating to another, one of the things that they need to do or might need to do is figure out what to do with their properties. Some people choose to give out set properties while some people choose to declutter and sell the properties to make more money. The declutter industry and Nigeria is fast becoming a big one as a lot of people are relocating from Nigeria.

 It is worth knowing that it is not only people who are relocating outside the country or travelling that declutter items, people who need to upgrade, take for example they have a particular size refrigerator but want to get a bigger size of a refrigerator or just somebody who doesn’t want a particular item any more or they are looking for means to make more money I choose to sell items and properties that belong to them.

You can sell anything through the declutter, I have seen the sale of so many different things on the avenue that people sell items through, items like refrigerators, cars, water tanks, travelling boxes, water dispensers, sewing machines, pets,

kitchen utensils like plates and spoons and forks and cutleries, furniture like wardrobes, tables, kitchen shelves and cupboards, bed frames, shoe racks, mattresses, chest drawers, electrical appliances like standing fans, ceiling fans, air conditions, blenders, toasters, sandwich maker, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, television,

Gadgets like laptops, phones, sound systems, computers, headphones, generators, PlayStation, and gaming consoles.

Clothing items like clothes, shoes, bags, gloves, and yoga mats.

I like to say that the list is endless as to all of the things that you can sell via declutter. There are different platforms that people make use of to declutter. Decluttering your items shouldn’t be a herculean task. There are so many different ways that make it easy for you to be able to sell your items without stress. Reasons why people declutter and sell their properties;

 Relocation

In recent times one of the major reasons why people declutter their items is due to relocation. There is a huge wave of japa that is rocking the country and a lot of people are moving to seek a better life. Due to the fact that a lot of people have no idea when they will be back in the country or some of them are not even planning to come back at all, they have to declutter and sell items that they have.

Some people would actually give out some items for free and sell the others which would make them more money and assist with making the relocation process a little easier on their finances. A lot of people, due to relocation sell household items like fridges, wardrobes, tables kitchen utensils curtains and so on.

 Upgrade

 Another reason that people choose to declutter items is that they want an upgrade to what they currently have. Take for instance, a person who might have a particular brand of phone but want to buy a newer brand and so would sell the old one so that they can get more money to help with the new brand that they want. This could also go for most household items which include but are not limited to washing machines, microwaves, sandwich maker and more.

Affordability

The fact that you can sell and buy these items at prices less than the market price of the brand-new is one of the reasons why people actually do this. It makes life so much easier knowing that you’ll be getting a good product at a lesser price.
