The Home Care Worker Immigration Pilot for workers in Canada is now open for the year 2025.
People who have been working towards migration to Canada through this route can now submit their applications and become permanent residents of Canada. 2,750 applications will be taken through the (HCWP) Child Care pilot and 2,750 through the (HCWP) Home Support pilot. 140 of the 5,500 applications in each pilot will be for out-of-status and unauthorised workers in Canada.
For this stream, only applications from workers in Canada will be accepted. Applications from those not working in Canada will open at a later date. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will stop accepting applications once 5,500 have been received.
