A Senegal trip seems like just the thing for a good time.
Senegal is a great destination for African digital nomads.
Great food, somewhat reliable internet, loads of activities to do during the day, & nice night life. I also felt safe traveling solo. If I were going to plan a month in Senegal as a nomad, this is what I would do.

1. From the airport, go straight to Saly and spend a week at the beach town. An okay airbnb will cost you an average of $50 a night (of course you can share with to make it cheaper). When in Saly, I’ll drive down to the Gambia border & spend a day or two. pic.twitter.com/sQwrA982WC

After that, I’ll come to Dakar & spend the rest of my time here. Airbnbs are around an average of $60 a night but you can negotiate with your hosts since it you’ll be there for a while. My recommendation is to stay around Almadines. It is not too far away from all the fun. pic.twitter.com/pkKLlf8b7Z

While in Dakar, if you get tired of working from home, there are loads of coffee shops you can go to. I’ll work during the week and spend the weekends exploring the touristy things to do. Pink Lake, Goree Island etc.

One thing you definitely do not want to miss in Dakar is Phare des Mamelles (light house). If you are sporty, you can hike up the hill & you’ll be rewarded with the most amazing views. If not, you can take the buses up. Do this during the day. Then come back at night for dinner pic.twitter.com/FbP8VrEtXZ

Then dedicate a full day to visiting Njor surf camp and try something new ☺️https://t.co/8gZX7ILH0m

Walk around Dakar city!!! There’s so much to discover in those alleys. Yes, you’ll get lost many times but never for too long.

The people of Senegal are very kind and patience so do not be afraid to practice your French. The effort is well appreciated and they will help you – a lot! At the end of the month, you’ll quickly realize why so many people fall in love with Senegal
