The Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships (QECS) present a distinctive chance for individuals to pursue a two-year Master’s degree in a low or middle-income Commonwealth nation. The application process for QECS occurs twice yearly, with cycle 1 opening in November/December and cycle 2 in March/April. Applicants need only submit one application, although they are encouraged to apply multiple times if interested in studying in different countries.
Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships target students committed to effecting positive change within their communities. Recipients receive support to enhance their knowledge and skills, equipping them to apply these competencies in their careers and contribute to addressing global challenges and advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Eligibility Criteria for the Scholarship
- You must have attained a minimum of 2:1 (or equivalent) at undergraduate level to be eligible to apply.
- You will need to submit an application for admission to your chosen university course directly to the university in addition to completing a QECS application.
- Applicant must be from a Commonwealth country
- Meet the requirements for your chosen university and course
- Applicants must be committed to creating change in their communities
