You can apply for the Singapore international graduate award once you complete your bachelor’s degree program or you can also apply once you’re done with your masters degree program. The scholarship is also free and you will not have to pay a penny of tuition during your program’s four years.
The Singapore international graduate award takes place in Singapore and the scholarship is offered by the agency for science, technology, and research, Singapore. It is a PhD/doctorate program that lasts for 4 years.

- Applicant must have completed a bachelor’s degree
- The applicant must be an international student
- The applicants must have top-notch academic referees
- They must be proficient in written and spoken English language
- The award is not open to Singaporean nationals or candidates who have already completed and have their bachelor’s degree in Singapore
- The Singapore scholarship is only open to applicants who want to pursue their PhD in science and engineering
- This award is not open for courses like social sciences economics humanities and so on
Application for The Singapore international graduates award
- The applicant’s referees have to send reference letters directly to the Singapore international graduate award
- It is not necessary for applicants applying through the single portal to apply on the university portal separately.
- The candidates have to submit all the important documents online
- The applicant has to elaborate on their research proposals while filling out their application forms
- Applicants should try to submit their application at least two weeks before the deadline because once applications are submitted, referees receive email and have 7 days to complete and sign reference letters.
- The applicant has to select their research project.
- Once two reference letters are received by the Singapore international graduates award(SINGA), the application process will start.
- The applicant does not have to follow their major in their bachelor’s degree and can apply for any field of interest in their PhD
- More than one and up to three research proposals can be submitted by the applicants.
- Applicants do not need to contact the supervisor in order to be able to apply for the Singapore scholarship.
