Do you need the IELTS practice tests questions?
IELTS known as the international English language testing system is an exam that was designed to help people study work and migrate to a country that has English as a native language. Countries like Canada, New Zealand, Australia, the USA and the United Kingdom.
For a lot of my people that want to travel to Canada, the United Kingdom and New Zealand you will need to take the IELTS exams as it is part of the requirement that will be demanded of you by the immigration body for your migration. Graded on a scale of 1 to 9, the parts that will be tested include your ability to read, write, listen and speak in English.
Why You Should Take The IELTS ExamsÂ
 English is the third most spoken language in the world where about three 179 million speakers worldwide. To enable you to live, work and study in a country where English is the major language then you need to show a high level of English language ability. Understanding and being able to speak the major language in a country that you are relocating to who always be a great idea and it also makes things really easy for you to communicate with the locals and be able to leave life with less stress in the country, also help you integrate and settle down faster in your community.

IELTS Score NeededÂ
 Depending on your reason for taking the exam, you should know that different universities, institutions, workplaces and immigration bodies have specific score requirements for the IELTS exam. Depending on what you are looking for in the country, whether to be fully employed or to get an education, this score you will need will be dependent on your reason for seeking entrance to the country. But you should know that the higher you score on the exam the better for you.
Score skill for IELTS
Zero – did not attempt the test – No questions were answered
1 – non-user – the candidate has no ability to use the language except for a few isolated wordsÂ
2 – Intermittent user- The user has great difficulty understanding spoken and written EnglishÂ
3 – extremely limited user -The candidate conveys and understands only general meaning in familiar situations. There are frequent gaps in communication
4 – limited user – basic competence of the test taker is limited to familiar situations
5 – modest user – The candidate has partial command of the language understanding of the language and copes well with overall meaning although likely to make mistakes.
The score goes up to 9.Â
The questions of the test will cover writing, listening, speaking and reading.
Different IELTS Modules
There are different modules for IELTS and these are;
Academic trainingÂ
General training
The IELTS academic can be taken either online or at home where you have a stable internet connection or you can take it at a test centre on paper or a computerÂ
 IELTS General training can only take place at the test centre on the computer or paper.
The test is only valid for 2 years and it cost about 75,000 to 80,000 naira for the test. The test is written across many locations in Nigeria and is also written more than once a year. If you want to take the test you will need to find a centre close to you for registration. Your destination country will also dictate the acceptable score for your IELTS

 There is so much to learn from YouTube and it is a place where you can find IELTS practice questions. You can find so many materials on how to ace your IELTS tests. Some videos are as long as 10 hours and go into detail about the IELTS full course and some videos are mock practice tests and so much more etc.
There are so many resources available to you through YouTube so do not forget to turn to it when you start your practising for your IELTS examsÂ
 Friends and familyÂ
 You most likely have friends or family who have taken the exams before you and may still have materials that they used for these exams that you can study and practice with to ace your own IELTS tests.

Another website you can find free IELTS practice guides is Test Guide. The Test Guide website helps you with preparation as it provides questions for practice. It also goes into detail explaining all that you should know about IELTS.

The British Council website also provides free online IELTS practice tests for you. The test will help you practise as you can use the website to carry out timed practice sessions and also help develop the best test techniques. By taking the free practice test, you will get to know the test format, experience the type of tasks that you will be asked, understand, review your answers and compare them with model answers and also test yourself on the timed conditions.
